About Old West FCU

Serving Eastern Oregon Residents Since 1957

Our Mission Statement

Old West Federal Credit Union strives to offer a wide range of services designed to improve the economic and social well-being of our members. We strive to adapt to the ever-changing financial environment to provide the best service, value, and education to our members.

Our History

Old West Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1957 to serve the employees of the Hines Lumber Company in Bates, Oregon. Over the years, we have expanded our charter several times; today we serve eight eastern Oregon counties. Our charter covers Grant, Baker, Union, Wallowa, Umatilla, Morrow, Wheeler, and Harney counties.

We strive to serve all financial needs of our membership. We offer a wide range of checking options, including our free Kasasa® checking accounts that pay cool rewards, and free Kasasa Saver® to help you make the most of your money. All of our accounts come with state-of-the-art services to make accessing your account easy, like online banking and mobile banking with bill pay.

Our lending staff is fully trained to offer a wide variety of loans to meet your needs. From business and agricultural real estate to personal and home mortgage, we do them all! Long-term agriculture real estate loans have become a large part of our lending. We process more Farmer Mac loans than any other depository institutions in Oregon.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, owns property, worships, or has an immediate family member residing in Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wheeler, Grant, Baker or Harney counties. Become a member today. We look forward to serving you!
